He claims to be a detective and work for the Tenryou Commision, but his enquiries seem to be unrelated to any official duties and are instead driven by his own convictions. Heizou's perception of the word "detective" is largely influenced by his conviction that one should be good's natural enemy because the harm had already been done despite any attempts to cover it up. His breakup with Sango was a result of this. Heizou is one of the Tenryou Commission's strongest doushins and a very proficient martial artist, despite his appearance to some as "brainy"; yet, he dislikes having to fight because he views apprehending criminals in that way as brutal.
The medium man model is used by Heizou. He has light olive green eyes, darkly highlighted burgundy hair, and a mole beneath each eye.
